Each power supply is inspected, repaired, cleaned, and tested.  In addition to repairing the immediate problem, all other failure prone components are replaced regardless of whether or not they have failed yet.  This will help to insure a long, and trouble free life.

Will the power supply fix my Mac?
It’s impossible to be sure without
testing your old power supply, but most MDD failures are caused by the
power supply.  Virtually all of these power supplies have reached an age
where they need some
service to continue working reliably.
Common symptoms of a bad power supply include, but are not limited to:

* Power button glows briefly, but system doesn’t turn on
* System turns on for a moment and shuts off.  Repeated power on attempts my get the system to start
* System must be unplugged and plugged back in before it will turn on

Why should I have my power supply refurbished instead of buying a cheaper used one?
All MDD power supplies are getting old.  Heat and time have taken their toll on a number of critical components.  Even if a used power supply appears to be working, chances are it’s rapidly approaching failure.
The only way to insure continued reliable operation is to thoroughly inspect, and replace all parts that are failing, or are known to cause trouble.  I only use top quality parts which are better than the original parts.
